- Holding your urge to urinate for too long.
You will most likely to suffer after some time if you are not fond of emptying your bladder on time. Holding your urine for a longer time will allow exponential growth of bacteria breeding in the urine. These bacteria can lead to kidney or urinary tract infection (UTI). Retaining the urine can cause urinary incontinence and renal failure as it increases the pressure on the kidneys.
It is recommended to urinate when you feel like urinating. Don’t make it a habit of holding your urge to urinate.
- Low water intake or constant quasi-dehydration.
When you feel thirsty it means that you are already dehydrated. Avoid drinking only when you feel thirsty because it can cause severe damage to your kidney. At the start, your body lacks water and your blood becomes concentrated. The concentrated blood finds it difficult to flow through veins and arteries. This also affects the ability of kidneys to flush out the toxins from your body, and the more toxins in the body, the worse it gets.
It is better to consume at least 10 to 12 glasses of water a day.
